San Diego Condo Project Put On Hold
If you’ve been in the vicinity of Balboa Park recently. You’ve probaby seen the construction. Those cranes are hard to miss. An 11-story luxury condo project has been underway for some time, but now it seems this San Diego condo development project has hit the skids.
It seems that the development company’s president is seeking additional financing sources, which is usually not a good sign in the middle of a construction project. On top of that, San Diego officials are planning to cite the company (San Diego-based Mayfair) for leaving construction debris behind at the abandoned site.
The first level of the condo tower is partially completed, but the second level now stands unfinished. We will post an update as this story “develops.”
